Job Skill collects your information in two categories:

1. Information provided voluntarily by you when you create an account or make changes to your profile (email address, name, first name, age ...).
2. Information we collect automatically resulting from your use of our services. We collect information related to the services you use and how you use them (pages viewed, platform navigation ...).

We automatically collect certain information about you when you visit our platform. Here are the details of this information:

• Your activity on Job Skill as a candidate: job offers or assignments searched, viewed, applied for
• Your activity on Job Skill as a company: job offers or assignments published and proposed, profiles viewed and contacted

• Files viewed on our platform
• Transaction details
• Recommendations received or given

The automatic processing of this data is carried out in the legitimate interest of Job Skill, which allows us, on one hand, to secure your data by preventing or detecting possible fraud, and on the other hand, to send you the best professional opportunities matching your profile or offer.

3. Use of Your Collected Data

We process your personal data, particularly when you connect to the platform, register, during your activity on the platform, or when using the payment system.

Your data is useful to us for providing our services, responding to your requests, operating and improving our platform, and protecting and improving our services.

Mainly, the collected data is used to:

• Create and manage a personal Job Skill account
• Publish a candidate profile in CV form
• Publish a company profile to present the company
• Allow candidates to search for offers and apply directly via the platform
• Offer candidates jobs that match their profile thanks to MIA, our Intelligent Automated Matching
• Allow companies to publish offers and receive applications
• Offer companies candidate profiles that match the searched profile thanks to MIA, our Intelligent Automated Matching
• Contact us and allow us to respond to you
• Contact you to provide information about our services and security updates
• Operate Job Skill services
• Optimize, improve, and analyze the services offered on our platform
• Secure our services and protect user rights
• Provide personalized follow-up based on the data provided in your profile
• Send notifications related to your activity (new message, new offer, new profile)

4. Sharing Your Data

Job Skill provides its platform to you, and for certain services and features, we are required to share information about you, for the sole purpose of optimizing your professional opportunities. Your collected data may be shared with the following categories of third parties:

• With companies searching for profiles that have subscribed when you make your profile visible or apply for an offer
• With candidates when you publish an offer or propose your offer directly to a candidate
• Google Analytics for statistics
• Brevo for sending our communications (promotional emails, transactional emails, and SMS)
• OVH for storing your data processed by Job Skill
• Stripe for making online payments and managing your invoices and subscriptions (for companies only)
• Odoo for billing

Applying for an offer or proposing an offer and providing your contact details for this purpose is sufficient to demonstrate your interest in an offer or a candidate, in which case your information will be transmitted to the company or candidate so they can contact you regarding that same assignment.

Job Skill does not sell any data, information, or documents you entrust to us to any third party and does not disclose your personal data outside the situations described in this privacy policy.

5. Data Retention Period

We retain your collected information as long as your account remains active, until you wish to modify or delete your personal information and/or your account in the manner indicated below. We reserve the right to retain your information as long as your account remains active or as long as necessary to provide our services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve potential disputes, and enforce our contractual commitments.

If you do not log in to your account or interact with our services for more than five (5) years, your account will expire and be automatically deleted from our platform. Accounts reaching this five (5) year threshold will be systematically deleted, and you will receive an email at the address listed in your profile to notify you of your account's deletion.

Upon simple request, we will inform you if we hold personal information about you. You can consult, update, modify, or delete your account and profile on the platform at any time. To do so, log in to your account and access your profile to make the desired changes.

You also have the right to data portability and can ask Job Skill to limit the processing of data concerning you.

Job Skill may refuse or limit the consultation, updating, modification, or deletion of your personal data if it contravenes the rights of a third person and/or in cases authorized by current legislation.

If you wish to delete your account and all your personal data, please contact us at hello@job-skill.be, and we will take the necessary steps. However, we reserve the right to retain your personal data, regardless of your account closure, if it is necessary to meet our legal obligations, satisfy regulatory requirements, resolve disputes, investigate security incidents, prevent fraud or abuse, or enforce our General Conditions. We will keep this information anonymously after your account is closed.

6. Security of Your Data

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure the security, confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our information system and your data to protect personal data against destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure, or unauthorized access.
